These OALUXX toe separators are super-squishy, amazingly flexible and stretchy enough to fit most foot sizes. Their medical-grade silica gel material is a little sticky on removal from the package, but that’ll probably diminish with wear and cleaning. One factor makes them distinctly better from most other toe separators of this type; the straps that go around the toes, especially the big toe, are wider than usual, which improves retention when worn. Another difference is a subtle embossed chevron pattern and the company name and logo that are molded into the outer top and bottom surfaces. Clearly that doesn’t affect how they do their separation job, but it distinguishes them from competitors. I personally really like them in clear gel, but many colors are available to suit every preference.

Like others of this genre, they’ll eventually wear out--in others that I’ve used over the years, the bottom of the big-toe strap got thinner and brittle with wear, and ultimately broke--so expect to have to replace them at some point.

I give these toe separators five enthusiastic stars for their design and materials, especially the wider straps, which I think is a major advantage over others of this type.
